This policy applies to information obtained by Storystreator through the website, features, services and any medium of engagement.

Definitions

"Using" and "processing" information in this policy include statistical and other analyses, collecting, storing, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing, and transferring data within the organization. "You" and "your" refer to users of Storystreator, its platform, services, features and website.

Scope

This policy does not govern all data processed by Storystreator. For enterprise customers, Storystreator provides an in-depth view of data, controls, governance and policy through DPAs, and employment policies that govern internal responsibilities and procedures. Storystreator ensures transparency with its customers, employees and their data.

Personal Data

Storystreator collects information about individuals in the following ways:

• When they purchase a service.

• When they register as users on the Storystreator platform.

• When they visit the website or contact Storystreator directly.

• When they contact support, before or after becoming a user.

Data Collected

Storystreator processes end user data for customers who have signed up for an account, including information such as first name, last name and email address. Personal information includes any data that identifies users or can be combined with other data to identify them. This includes their name, company name, email address and billing information. Non-personal information includes data that cannot be used to identify or contact users, such as browser types and domain names.

Registering

To access Storystreator's platform, customers are required to register an account and provide personal and non-personal information. Personal information may also be obtained through user email interactions with Storystreator.

Third-Party Information

Storystreator collects end user data necessary to provide its services, leveraging the GDPR compliant platform Firebase. Storystreator also leverages Single Sign-On (SSO) to authenticate users via Google and other federated providers. Such authentication imports user information like email, first and last names, and public avatars, which is then used to connect payment and support services to users.

Storystreator uses the information collected to provide a great user experience, to operate and improve the platform, contact users for billing and customer service purposes, send welcome emails, transcription notification and story sharing alerts, and to send emails related to the website. Users always have the option to unsubscribe from any email they receive. Storystreator also uses the information gathered for statistical analysis of user behavior, to evaluate and improve services, and for internal purposes.

End User Information

End User Data is used to identify users and provide customer service on behalf of Storystreator customers. Such data may be disclosed to the relevant customer.
